Can you explain what "cookies" are and how Stylish Hut uses them?

Cookies are small files stored in the memory of your computer's browser on your hard drive when you visit our web site.  Mainly we use cookies to improve the Stylish Hut web site and make it easier for you to use.  Cookies allow us to recognize users and avoid any duplicate or repetitive requests.  For example; cookies enable you to place decorative accessories in your Stylish Hut shopping cart such as a candleholder, charger, bowl, lamp or any other decorative item you find appealing so you can continue shopping and return to your cart and check out at a later time and not loose any items previously placed in your cart.  If you disable "cookies" on your computer you will more than likely experience some problems at Check Out especially if you are purchasing several different items.  Stylish Hut uses mostly "session cookies" which are automatically deleted after each visit or when you exit our site.  Other sites can not read cookies from our site. Cookies are accepted by most browsers until you change your browser's settings to refuse cookies.

How does Stylish Hut secure my payment information and protect my privacy?

Stylish Hut offers secure web pages to collect private user information and we store data in encrypted form. We follow reasonable technical and management practices to help protect the confidentiality, security and integrity of the data entered on our system.  No computer system is completely secure, and we believe the measures implemented by our Site work to reduce the probability of any security problems that may arise to a level appropriate to the type of data involved.

How can I search for a specific item?

At the top of any page on the Stylish Hut web site you will find the term "search" which has a box next to it.  In the box type in what you are looking for using as few words as possible (i.e., decorative accessories, sculpture, candleholder, etc.) then press enter on your keyboard and either the items within that category will come-up or if you typed in the name of a specific item then that particular item's detail will appear.  If you do not find what you are searching for, please send us an email explaining what it is you are seeking and we will do our very best to help you locate just what you are looking for. 

How do I place an order?

In the menu list on the left side of the Stylish Hut web site click on the first item titled "Shop Our Store" and select a category in which you wish to shop.  Below each item there is a button for you to click if you would like to place that item in your shopping cart to purchase when you finish looking for the items you like.  Each time you click on an "Add to Cart" button you can see all the items you have placed in your cart during your current shopping visit.  If you wish to continuing shopping for more items simply click on the "Continue Shopping" button and you will return to your previous location within our store.

When you have completed your shopping and would like to checkout please click on the button titled "shopcart" in the upper left corner of the Stylish Hut web site.  Once you have returned to your shopcart you can make any changes to your order you may desire.  To alter the quantity simply enter the number of each item you wish in the box located on the same line as that item.  Make sure you click on the "Update" button to register any changes you have made.  You can also remove an item from your cart by clicking on the "Remove" button for that item.  If you click on the "Clear Cart" button your entire shopcart will be emptied and you may begin a new shopping session anytime.

When you have everything in your cart in the correct quantities then click on the "Checkout" button located on the shopcart page or in the upper left corner of the Stylish Hut web site.  The next window allows you to fill in your personal information we need to process your order such as your billing and shipping information.  Click "Next" at the bottom of the page after you have filled in your information.

In this next window you can review your order for accuracy and total balance due including tax, if any, and shipping and handling charges.  Choose your desired payment method and fill in the appropriate information.  Click "Finish" at the bottom when ready and your order will be processed.
